This is even more important than some people may realize since being a teacher is a disproportionately common job for gay men.
I'm not sure that is true, libhom. I've had both and the lesbians win. Maybe I misinterpret your comment. I also had more str8 male teachers. Only in Drama do I think you are on spot.
What would help straight teachers recognize their homophobic attitudes, and change their anti-gay behavior (especially in the teacher's lounge)?
