Granted, there are tons of businesses listed I would never support on there regardless of their ranking but it does provide a useful resource with regards to some categories. HRC is not Greenpeace so I don't expect them to be ranking based on environmental practices anymore than I would expect PETA to rank on LGBT issues. That being said I wish HRC would actually be for an inclusive ENDA.
