Word of the Gay: "Romantic Friendship"
A "romantic friendship" is a term used to describe a romantic relationship between two friends that is non-sexual in nature. It goes beyond standard friendship to include close intimacy, hand holding, cuddling, and kissing, and sharing a bed.
This is EXACTLY like my friendship with my best friend who is a gay man (I'm a lesbian). Now I have something to tell people when they think we're secretly straight for each other!
