On Jan 19th at 9 AM GLBT Atlanta is organizing a demonstration in front of the Ebenezer Baptist Church where Martin Luther King Jr. delivered his famous dream speech. The protest is targeted at The King Center which chose the speaker for the church.
The protest will be at the corner of Auburn Ave and Jackson St, the front entrance of Ebenezer Baptist Church, starting at 9:00 a.m. Staging and coordination will begin a half hour earlier, 8:30 a.m., one block south at Edgewood Ave and Jackson St.
Protesters are encouraged to wear black shirts as a unifying color.

Someone please speak on the need to separate church and state it is critical that Obama understands this constitutional issue. His denial of the law is causing our community great grief. Have a great Rally!
You are simply bullies with your agenda. Rick Warren has a right to his religious faith and on that marriage is narrowly defined as being between a man and a woman.
In your efforts to deny Warren his right to believe what he’s free to believe in and Obama's right to invite whomever he wants to pray at his inauguration you are hypocrites.
You only care about your rights and you hate honest disent and disagreement.
What is someone got on stage and advocated for the position that women should not be allowed to vote? Would that be dissent and disagreement or a sexist hater?
