Even in good old Catholic Ireland the fight is on. I can't wait to see the black eye the church gets on this one.
Next stop, Rome.
Oooh, and they even have a bit of Irish in the middle of it! I'm impressed. It is, as you said, a great ad. Very well put together.
TRiG.
What a good idea! And it's very well made -- I loved the camera work.
Interesting, they made this commercial in California right after or right before prop 8 passed with Californians though. I don't know who copied who, but I liked the idea :)
Don't forget that in good Catholic Spain the fight is won.
We can do this.
TRiG.
They had the same ad in america a while ago, I liked it then too :-D
i wish , in america, we had gay marriage. unbelievable that we can have a black president and we are still... in the 3rd world on this issue
My husband (Irish) and I live here in my homeland (Canada) partly due to the fact that our marriage wouldn't be recognised in his country (and therefore difficult for me to emigrate there).
hi I am a straight women and mum of three. i just want to say that I think the gay community are the bravest people I know. I am doing a piece for college on civil partnership and it has come to my attention that the children of gay partners are being left out of this bill in Ireland.. im sorry but I believe its a very irish compromise AND IT SHOULD BE REJECTED.if my son or daughter came out and said they were in love and gay and wanted to marry they are not allowed because the state and the church decide what a family is! I dont think so(sorry for going on). if the shoe were on the other foot we would have public out cry....great add by the way (sorry).
