"Right-handed" is a term meaning heterosexual because left-handed people are a minority constituting around 10% of the population much like LGBTQ people.

One wonders what left-handed people think about these comparisons. By the way, the percentage of left-handes has been increasing steadily. It's now around 15% in countries where its not interfered with.
