Miley Cyrus: "You're Vain, You're Gay"

Pop star Miley Cyrus from the hit Disney show Hannah Montana has changed the lyrics of one of her popular songs '7 Things' in a recent Louisville, Kentucky concert from 'You're Game' to 'You're gay'.

'You're vain
You're GAY
You're insecure
You Love me you like her...'

Watch her on stage performance clip in Louisville with the words being altered below:

It is unacceptable to use 'You're Gay' as an insult, and it's particularly dissapointing coming from Miley who only recently endorsed marriage equality.

Contact Miley Cyrus on Twitter or Myspace and urge her to apologize for these 'lyrics'

As if this sounds like its intentional...

Demanding apologies probably won't do anything here. She's Miley Cyrus, the daughter of the moron who gave us Achey Brakey Heart and many other country music songs that never should have been made.

We'd do better to demand an apology from Disney from continuing this tradition of bad music.

Apologies do work IMO, so many famous people have apologized and worked to fix their image, working with GLAAD, or HRC etc, so Miley get your ass to a phone bank for marriage equality in NJ or something.

if i demanded apologies from every teenage twat that ignorantly perpetuated negative stereotypes there would be little time in my life for anything else. i just feel bad for the young lgbts that listen to her music. sad.

How can HRC improve anyone's image other than those trying to take the T out of LGBT?

Jessica Sideways,

If I had MY way we would drop GLBTQQI or whatever that ridiculously long acronym is and just go with queer!

That's Miley Cyrus for you. She also posed for a picture doing insensitive "Asian slant eyes," so that she would do something like that is hardly surprising. She's a teenager, teenagers do stupid stuff like that because not enough people challenge them on it. Since she's also an influential teenager, though, she needs to set an example and apologize because too many young kids are looking up to her to just brush it off.

The real questions should why do we can what she says?

Excuse me, aren't you overeacting a tad bit. The lyrics go by so fast, it may have just been a slip-of-the-tongue. Game sounds very much like gay if you take out the ME-part.

i don't think she said it she was sick and if she did she said it to her boyfriend who keeps hurting her for god sake find someone else to bother children little mean children in this world grow up

This is such a gay post. Seriously, get over it. When the definition of gay was stolen by homosexuals, it left it open for other definitions. One definition for gay has come to mean unspecified insult. Get over it.

This is the same Miley Cyrus who did the "slanty eyes" thingy and whined that she was being picked on when confronted with the fact that this was a racist thing to do. She didn't make a "real" apology then either.

You may actually want to confirm that that is what she said before jumping to conclusions. As I see it, "gay" and "game" can sound very familiar, especially on a mic and when you are speaking very fast. The mic could of not picked up her "me" or the person's device didn't pick up the "me" or she was somehow being effected by the fast vocals. Lets be a little more open minded here, ask her first ;3

mewi I doubt it because its a negative context line likely about her ex who is one of the Jonas brothers widely suspected or rumored to be gay.

I read this after reading that KY's leading cash crop is Dope. She's merely Trash with Cash.

Sabertooth Screaming Lemur <---- 'Nuff said. I fully agree.

I will always and forever support the right of people to be offended when someone offends them. Period.
