Why not just say they, or them?
Some people do but they or them is plural and it sounds like you are talking about a group as opposed to an individual.
I like this, language shapes how we think. By shifting the language focus away from gender it shifts the cultural focus away from gender as well. With that focus shifted people can be who they are inside with less focus on who they are outside.
I love gender-neutral pronouns! <3 (Xe/xyr/xem is totally better, though :P)
I like using sie/hir, as in "SEE HERE!" So assertive. ;)
"Zie" is Italian for "aunts", why not choose another word?
