Homophobe Tucker Carlson Strikes Again, This Time Mocking DADT Repeal

Fox News guest Tucker Carlson mocked the effort to repeal the anti-gay Don't Ask Don't Policy in the military. He called the issue a "waste of time" being run by a "politically aggressive interest group." When challenged by his left-wing commentator he jokes that "most translators are gay, and flamboyant."

This isn't the first time Carlson has had issues with the LGBT community. He proudly maintains that he bashed a gay guy who hit on him. He argued that efforts to educate children about gay families are "controversial" His website The Daily Called referred to political pundit Rachel Maddow as a man.

Daily Caller Refers to Rachel Maddow as Man

The Daily Caller news website founded by Tucker Carlson is getting attention not for their content but their insulting and childish material. Carlson already has a bad reputation in the queer community after bragging about beating up a gay man, and calling gay families controversial. Now the website is taking their aim at MSNBC's lesbian political talk show host Rachel Maddow.

On the site there is a picture of Maddow and below it says:

"Whoops, how did that one get in there? Sorry, man. I mean dude. I mean Rachel! Sorry, Rachel."
Really Daily Caller? Are we in third grade? This childish and offensive language is showing the authors phobia towards alternative sexuality and gender expression.

Let Tucker Carlson Know Our Families are Not "Controversial"

Tucker Carlson in an interview on Fox & Friends discussing efforts to prevent bullying among youth through age appropriate discussion about sexual orientation and gender identity is calling books, and films about gay families a "controversial subject" and an effort to "push political propaganda." He goes on to say that there is no evidence of violence based on sexual orientation in those early grades.

We know all too well after the murder of twelve year old Lawrence King and others that hatred starts at a young age and anti-gay rhetoric is heavily prevalent among our nations youth.

Taking one day out of a year, or one segment of a lesson to teach about respect, and diversity is not "wasting time" for our kids. Would Tucker also say the same about other identities that are or were deemed "controversial" at some point?

Reading about gay penguins, Heather having two mommies, or watching It's Elementary is far from controversial, it is those who are against this that are , in the words of Mr. Carlson pushing "value judgments and political propaganda."

How ironic that Fox News brings on someone who himself is the perpetrator of anti-gay violence in the past to discuss anti-bullying methods.
