Gay couples can be recognized as married to their spouse by specifying that their spouse is of the same-sex. Transgender people are encouraged to select their gender identification on the form.

I so wanted to fill it out... and yet.. I knew they wouldn't give a flying flip about my family...
As with most forms, I had to "adjust" it. Been doing that for 30 years.
Bridge they probably don't care but still if you fill it out it gives organizations who do care the opportunity to argue for resources.
