"Gay by May" is a term used for when a theater major comes to college claiming they are straight but comes out of the closet as gay by the end of their freshman year.

Okay, this one makes me laugh. As an ex-theatre major myself (though I was never in any kind of closet), I've known a LOT of these kinds of people.
