With the greatest respect and you KNOW we love and follow you, but that definition is incorect.
As a quick trip thru google will show, a "Buppie" is "A young Black city or suburban resident with a well-paid professional job and an affluent lifestyle. [b(lack) + (y)uppie.]"

Huh?
That word has been around since the 80s - and it referred to Black Yuppies.
You guys are absolutely right that buppie also refers to black yuppies. The term has been used to describe bisexual yuppies too, although it is probably a lot less common than the former.
