David Jay, founder of the Asexuality Visibility and Education Network has appeared at conferences and campuses across the country, as well as on television shows such as 20/20 and The View. He is currently part of an effort to change the diagnostic criteria for Hyposexual Desire Disorder, to eliminate the current tendency to unnecessarily diagnose asexual people.
