Marriage Begins Today in California!

Just a few more hours, 5PM to be exact and California will officially begin issuing licenses to same-sex couples. Congratulations to the LGBT community in California and to all the couples! We stand proudly with you!

Below a beautiful video of some of the California couples when decision was announced by the Supreme Court by 2015 Place

I watch this video and cheer! My lover passed away 8 months ago and I think of our last 12 and a half years together of planning the mariage and all of the celebrations and How Rockin Cool our wedding would have been. And God Bless everyone who gets to do this thing and feel proud and happy! Best wishes to everyone and know that my husband is my husband in my heart no matter what we never got to celebrate! I wish I could be at everyone of your weddings!!! I love anyone who marries anyone with all my heart!!!! Love Jofish

Jofish I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your partner. My thoughts and prayers are with you. It is wonderful to hear that you had such a powerful connection, and are able to celebrate the joy that others will now embark on today and from this day forth.

Thank you for sharing such a beautiful song (and an even more beautiful idea: equality)! It's a great way to start off my day!

one day our bigoted world isn't going to believe that they wasted precious resources - money - energy and time on fighting the rights for us to be married.

Unfortunately I've removed the video due to remarks made by the Artist.

Larkin Gayl dedicated this song to same sex marriage.

Then, on her myspace site states she doesn't want the song to become the gay marriage song!

I for one was very offended. Ms. Gayl you should not have dedicated the song to same sex marriage if you didn't want to be associated with gays!

That is very upsetting Tom. Why would she do that? Anyways, you made a beautiful video, perhaps you can use another song? It would be a shame for people not to be able to view that video. It can change hearts and minds.
