This term within the context of the Queer community refers to people who are questioning their sexual orientation, gender identity or both. They may be experimenting with their feelings and attractions to see what identity would best describe them. The letter "Q" is sometimes added to the acronym LGBT.

Questioning is the word du jour and not to make light of its implication, but I'm sort of tired of folks suggesting to me that I need to add a "Q" on my site. I think my whole site is sort of dedicated to those who are "q-ing" so I'm not sure what else one is suppose to do.

Sue I don't think you need to add questioning. To me questioning is not a sexual orientation, they are questioning where they fall and will decide or will be in a fluid state throughout their lives which would make them queer.
Exactly!
