On June 28th, the San Francisco pride parade will be witnessing history in the making. It will be the first time ever in the U.S. that an asexual group will march in the parade.

Schedule of Events:

The evening before the parade, Saturday June 27th: BBQ and poster-making party at AVENguy's house in San Francisco at 6pm.

Morning of the parade: They will be meeting somewhere near SF's Embarcadero sometime between 9 and 10 am. Still waiting for more info from the Pride people.

For more details and up to the minute info on the events please check out One Percent Club.

LOL, everyone knows asexuality is contagious. It is a slippery slope, if one person stops having sex, everyone will stop. It's the end of the world as we know it!

LOL.

But wow, I hadn't heard yet about the contingent. I'll have to join that next summer when I move back stateside.

I hope it is successful and becomes an annual thing and spreads nationwide. I think Ily has 25 confirmed people and is hoping for 50. I hope it works out!

Yikes, this information is vague, sorry about that...check the thread on the Meetup Mart section of AVEN, www.asexuality.org, for updates. Thanks for posting this!
(Also, let it be known that many allies will be marching with us-- any supporter of the asexy cause is welcome.)
Yeah, asexuals are pretty frightening, I may go as myself for Halloween.

(Also...if you could edit out AVENguy's address, he would probably appreciate that. I told him it would only be on the AVEN thread...ya know, don't want your personal info in TOO many places on the 'net... :-)
