A "dash" is someone who does not self identify as gay/bi but is open to experimenting with same-sex behavior. The more popular and well known term for this behavior is bi-curious.

LOL! Well, before we come out aren't most of us "bi-curious"? ;)
Well, that's being closeted but knowing your identity. I think this is more about people who are primarily straight but curious about some interest in same-gender behavior.
