You've got to be kidding. I have NEVER heard of this. Where did you find this, on Urban Dictionary? Are you saying that a "Mary Ellen" would hit on a gay man in an attempt to get close enough to him to steal his wallet and then run like hell???

I don't make them up, I come across a lot of words. I suspect it is not widely used.
