Word of the Gay: "Donald Duck"

"Donald Duck" is a term when a gay man in the Navy is given a dishonorable discharge.

Hmmmm...
I'm wondering why a dishonorable discharge? Under DADT gays are given honorable discharges as a rule--unless they are caught having sex on a ship. Not sure I get this one.

Maybe pre-DADT it was a dishonorable discharge? I believe it was.
