The highest court in Nepal has issued a ruling granting full rights to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and intersexual citizens.
The final judgement was issued today.
"It reiterates that all LGBTIs are defined as a "natural person" and their physical growth as well as sexual orientation, gender identity, expression are all part of natural growing process. Thus equal rights, identity and expression must be ensured regardless of their sex at birth."(Pink News)Furthermore, the court has instructed a study into countries which have same-sex marriage practice and has ordered the legislature to introduce a bill putting forth full marriage equality which is expected to pass.

Now NEPAL? The USA had better get crackin'.
Some good news for my Monday!
There have been MANY civil rights stuggles throughout history. For many of us, the Civil Rights Movement of the 60's is our reference point, but it was hardly the first nor last civil rights movement in our human history.
Our present fight is VERY different today. We have FACEBOOK, MY SPACE, and YOU TUBE. With one click I can inform thousands of upcoming protests and actions. We also have a "minority" that has some members with SUBSTANTIAL cash in their pockets; a minority where some pay incredibly high taxes.
Charles Merrill just discussed his own tax protest today on the Ron Reagan Show on AIR AMERICA. GOOGLE.
YES - times are a-changin'. How WILL the government respond....if by April 15th we have over 20, 30, 50,000,000 straight and queer Americans withholding tax until ALL AMERICANS ARE EQUAL? Will they have the resources to arrest and prosecute ALL of us? Or will they finally decide that -
EQUALITY IS SIMPLE WHEN YOU SIMPLY INCLUDE EVERYONE.

I never expected an Asian country to do this in about 10,20 years but hey,way to go,Nepal!
You'll never see that happen here in the US because the US has become a secularist type of country and theirs no way a secular country will ever let it happen
