"Homogenic" was a substitute word for homosexual, it was an alternative for people who felt the term homosexual excluded women. The term never managed to successfully catch on.

Why, was it that the "homo" in "homosexual" was thought to mean "man" and not "same?" Those two "homo"s come from different roots: one Latin, one Greek. And I think "homo" as "man" originally meant "generic human being," much as "man" did.
Well, you would still be discriminating against animals. So I'd prefer to be called a "Living Organism". Although that might mean towards non-living organisms. I think we should all be called "THINGS". :) Then there'd be no discrimination whatsoever.
It's also a pretty terrific Björk album.
space i think it is thought of as both "man" and "same" so I guess pending on how you think of the word "homo" it could be inclusive or not inclusive, hence the other terms.
