I've struggled a lot recently, realizing that bisexual was too narrow a definition for me. Thanks for helping me clear things up!
So how does this differ from a 'Pansexual' person? Or are these just two ways of saying the same thing?
xyrra - I am glad you found it helpful, you might also like this earlier post http://queersunited.blogspot.com/2008/06/diversity-lesson-101-pansexuality.html
Moon - I think the two terms are pretty analogous. Thanks for asking.
So weird...a group of us literally just had a conversation about the pansexual/omnisexual thing!
Thank you! This is wonderful!
I am so confused. I thought there were only two genders (male and female). Am I missing something?
@anonymous ~ sex is biological, gender is socially constructed, one's sense of self as being/having male/female characteristics, or both, or neither, it's basically your classification of yourself as masculine/feminine.
personally i reject this dichotomy and view myself as genderless, though sexed girl... get it?
