"The Missing Vagina Monologue"

In response to an earlier entry calling for V-Day to discuss the "Missing Vagina Monologue" for intersex people, Esther Morris Leidolf emailed me her segment on gender vision about MRKH. It is a beautiful description of her experience, and how people in the medical community need to reconsider their understanding of people who are intersex.

Omg she is like me or I am like her, this is so wonderful and with that said as I wipe my eyes, she explained so much what I had to go through except I have more than she does. I don't know if I fit into her realm being a male with the uterus and ovary but thank you for sharing something so wonderful and special.

This was important and informative. Thanks for posting it, there needs to be more discussion on the many genders in our society and why gender bianarism is so important to American Nationalism!!!

I had no idea. No knowledge of this. Thank you so much for this post. Education is the key to understanding for us all.

Very impressive - this should be a compulsory educational tool to doctors and in high schools.
