Shameless Self Promotion Sunday

Please feel free to share any links to queer or queer related topics of interest. You can post a blog entry you made, a website you found interesting. Anything goes as long as it is queer in nature.

Hi, my partner and I have created a website for the LGBT community to share information, events, and stories that will make you laugh and cry from all over the world. If you would like to share anything that is LGBT related please go to www.lgbtpridenews4u.weebly.com or e-mail us at LGBTPRIDENEWS4U@aol.com.

Thanks
Cara and Tomi

I'm going to Sacramento tomorrow and Tuesday for the Marriage Equality events there. Rally at the Capital on Monday, lobbying the members of the legislature on Tuesday. I'm traveling with a friend, but my legally married spouse is rallying and lobbying from home. See http://www.equalityactionnow.org/events.php for details about these and other events.

Kansas Equality Coalition just started up http://twitter.com/kansasequality to help us reach more people. It's not easy being gay rights activists in Kansas, we need to unite as much of our side as we can!

I've been blogging a bit on my livejournal about sexuality. In particular, this one, about bisexuality and my problems with the term, might be of interest: http://raisins4peace.livejournal.com/153763.html

I blogged about Athens Boys Choir, which isn't really a choir: it's Harvey Katz, a transman who performs spoken word and hip-hop.

I've started a new blog, Queering the Lines, about bisexuality and bi issues. It's here:

http://queeringthelines.blogspot.com/

My first two posts have been about labels/language and why I think it's politically useful, as a queer person, to own a "bi" identity.
