It is estimated that nearly 10% of the population is left-handed, clearly it is unnatural as 90% of the population is right-handed. We must stop left-handed people from forcing us to accept their deviance and not allow them to teach our children that it is okay to use either hand.

Two Short Films About Protecting "Traditional Marriage" in Response to Prop 8

Two short films, 'The Defenders', and 'The License' have been created in response to the Supreme Court of California upholding proposition 8 which allowed the majority to take away rights from a minority segment of the population. The films are by Keith Hartman and are a clever, funny, yet scary and accurate assessment of how dangerous proposition 8 is to the civil liberties of all Americans. The films question how far society will go to enforce "traditional marriage" and how much hypocrisy exists.

Word of the Gay: "Spaghetti Girl"

"Spaghetti girl" is a term used among the lesbian and bisexual community to refer to a straight woman who doesn't know she has the potential to like females till one gets her wet. The joke being that the food spaghetti is straight, until soaked in water and gets wet.

10 Reasons Why Gay Marriage is Wrong!

1. Being gay is not natural Real Americans always reject unnatural things like eyeglasses, polyester and air conditioning.

2. Gay marriage will encourage people to be gay, in the same way that hanging around tall people will make you tall.

3. Legalizing gay marriage will open the door to all kinds of crazy behavior. People may even wish to marry their pets because a dog has legal standing and can sign a marriage contract.

4. Straight marriage has been around a long time and hasn't changed at all; women are still property, blacks still can't marry whites, and divorce is still illegal.

5. Straight marriage will be less meaningful if gay marriage were allowed; the sanctity of Britney Spears' 55-hour just-for-fun marriage would be destroyed.

6. Straight marriages are valid because they produce children. Gay couples, infertile couples, and old people shouldn't be allowed to marry because our orphanages aren't full yet, and the world needs
more children.

7. Obviously gay parents will raise gay children, since straight parents only raise straight children.

8. Gay marriage is not supported by religion. In a theocracy like ours, the values of one religion are imposed on the entire country. That's why we have only one religion in America.

9. Children can never succeed without a male and a female role model at home. That's why we as a society expressly forbid single parents to raise children.

10. Gay marriage will change the foundation of society; we could never adapt to new social norms. Just like we haven't adapted to cars, the service -sector economy, or longer life spans.

Activist Tip: Take Away Their Marriage Recognition

For those who voted to take away our marriage rights, we can symbolically take away the recognition of theirs as well. In some ways it seems a little juvenile, but so are their actions, and this will go a long way to make our point. If you know someone who is anti-gay, or voted for a proposition banning same-sex marriage, you can no longer regard their relationship as a marriage. Instead, give them a taste of what they are subjecting us to. Refer to their spouse as their "domestic partner" and their marriage as a "civil union" or just say you no longer recognize marriages since your right to them was taken away.

Comedian and same-sex marriage activist Wanda Sykes has announced today that she is gay and has married her partner. Wanda Sykes at a rally in Las Vegas today said:

"You know, I don't really talk about my sexual orientation. I didn't feel like I had to. I was just living my life, not necessarily in the closet, but I was living my life," Sykes told a crowd at a gay rights rally in Las Vegas on Saturday.

"Everybody that knows me personally they know I'm gay. But that's the way people should be able to live their lives," she said.

"Now, I gotta get in their face," she said. "I'm proud to be a woman. I'm proud to be a black woman, and I'm proud to be gay." (AP)
