Below is a video compilation released by the Human Rights Campaign which shows friends and colleagues of Barack and Michelle Obama. They discuss their experiences with them and their hopes for a brighter future.

The hubby and I were talking about Barack
just last night. I told him I was voting
for Barack and he said I might as well not
vote because it would just counter his.
He's going with McCain. Sorry, I don't
want him in there. He backed Bush all these
years and Bush has totally *F*-ed up this
country.

This video made me tear up. The obvious support for our community this man has is overwhelming. I remember watching the debate on Logo last year, and thinking that it was amazing that he responded first. His answers were very uplifting. Wow. Thanks for posting this video, and for all you do for our community.

This is nice but Obama is really no better than McCain with regard to gay marriage. As long as he opposes equal rights there he opposes equal rights

Correct me if I am wrong but didn't Obama go on record that he believed marriage was between a man and a woman? Obama is the lesser of a threat to our liberty though....
It's good to be back and agitating some!

I believe Obama is for gay marriage but can't publicly come out and say so otherwise it would mean political suicide.
