Thank you for posting this.
I'm actively looking for someone local to step up and help with the organizing of this event.
I'm not local, so won't be able to attend, but I'm keen to continue with helping promote turnout and would also like to pay for "No on 8" swag for the event. I've got a budget of $500 that I'd like to see spent on banners, yard signs, etc. All I'd ask is that the signs and banners be in place for the duration of the 3-hour Open House. After the event, it'd all be yours to keep.
If you or your group would be interested in taking me up on this offer, please drop a comment at my blog.
Cheers,
Chino
A big sign like that would be pretty nifty. Hopefully you find a taker.
UPDATE: The local tel contact for this action is Vern Nelson at 714-235-VERN

Thank you again for helping to promote this action!
chino - thanks for the new info, i bumpep up the post and added the graphics.
That last line made me lol.
"When do we get to vote on your marriages" with an emphasis on "your."
Anonymous - isn't that great? I have used that line with a right-wing friend of mine who debates gay marriage with me. As I said when do I get to vote on YOUR right to marry and adopt, he kinda lost his momentum haha.
I love that line
"When do we get to vote on YOUR marriage?"
Pure gold.
Good luck, folks. :) Hope it went well.
Anyone who was there or has info please let us know how it went. Thanks!
Here's my vote! So wish I could vote there.
Y'all would have all my votes.
I LOVE that 'WHEN DO WE GET TO VOTE ON YOUR
MARRIAGES' It's so true. I'd really like to
see these people who are against same sex
marriages get their marriage put through the
wringer. These people just have no life of
their own so they have to go and make sure
that others don't either. Just because their
marriage isn't the best doesn't mean they
have to ruin others.
HUGS!!!!!!
