A "stem" is a term used to describe lesbian or bisexual women who fall somewhere in between stud and femme.

well i guess im stem status
well i knew this already but now i can reassure my girlfriend to stop thinking im straight and to know its ok for me to be dominant but in tune with my femm side
I fall in this catagory too, Im tomboyish and gay but i got my girle swag still and it all the joy to enjoy it with my wifey . She even said its nice to see you have a strong side and yet still be girlie xD im like yeah! All the better with my girl!!
