Congressman Kirk: "Supports DADT to Keep 'that all' Out of Military"

Republican congressman Mark Kirk of Illinois 10th district has made a bizarre and discriminatory comment regarding the militarys don't ask don't tell policy.

"I think it's worked out well," he said. "Keeping that all out of the workplace makes common sense."

So gays are now 'that' or is he referring to all our gayness or gay sex?

Tell congressman Kirk to keep 'that' bigoted opinion of his out of the workplace for the American people, tell him DADT is wrong!

The web form is meant only for members of his district. The best way to tell him your concerns about his stupidity is to call or write.

Who is running against him....give everyone his opponent's campaign funding information.

Seems congruent with the Republican party's platform on intolerance. People of good conscience need to elect leaders who care about all people, not a select few.

I think that phrasing is more a local way of talking, it likely makes more sense to most if you reverse 'that all' to 'all that', unfortunately, doesn't come out any less discriminatory...

As soon as I saw the word "Republican" I didn't have to read much further. They are some seriously craven idiots aren't they.

They should keep Kirk out of congress.

What is it with the far right and their obsession with denying LGBT people *everything*? They've lately gotten angry over a gay man getting a promotion at Disney and a gay man as Safe and Drug-Free Schools Czar, too. This comment is just naked bigotry--he's saying we don't belong in *any* workplace unless we are very, very quiet. No pictures on desks, no "and guest" on invitations, no honest answers to questions about the weekend. I guess we should thank him for his honesty, then pop the popcorn for the media coverage of his inevitable sex scandal.

Word on the street is that he is gay that would be a complement to him. Maybe we will see him on the next "Outrage" movie. Check it out; it is about how the politicians that are closeted have the worst record for voting for gay and lesbian rights.
