Pepsi "Something for Everyone" Slogan is Working!

The American Family Association is calling for a boycott of Pepsi due to their support for the "homosexual agenda" and they are asking their constituents to take action by letting Pepsi know they plan on boycotting.

They are angry because Pepsi donated $500,000 to the Human Rights Campaign as well as $500,000 to Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays(PFLAG)

Pepsi has also marched in pride parades and handed out Pepsi products and paraphernalia in an effort to market to the LGBT community.

In addition PepsiCo has workshops to trains its employees in diversity training which includes educating about sexual orientation and gender identity issues.

Please call Pepsi (914-253-2000 or 1-800-433-2652) and let them know you appreciate their commitment to diversity and for supporting gay charities.

Pepsi's products include Pepsi soft drinks, Frito-Lay chips (800-352-4477), Quaker Oats (800-367-6287), Tropicana (800-237-7799) and Gatorade (800-367-6287).

Forward this page to your friends and family so they will know about Pepsi's support for equal rights and for LGBT organizations.

I love this! Thanks to AFA, we get to be the good guys who shower praises on GLBT positive businesses.

Of course, I'm going to post this on my blog tomorrow as another "BUYcott."

Keep up the good work AFA. We appreciate it!

Ah, I can finally feel proud of my mom's crippling Pepsi addiction.

Oh look everyone, another company is being all diverse and accepting and shit! Let's boycott them! *rolls eyes*

What would conservative America do without someone to continually boycott? As a kid my parents were always being told to boycott someone by their church. Honestly!

Inclusion is nothing new at Pepsico. I worked for this company(Frito Lay division) for 20 years. Now retired, my husband and I have always been treated fairly. This company has offered medical benefits for both of us my entire careeras well. More importantly, support from my coworkers has never been more positive.
Good atmosphere. Good people. Great company.

You are right, we should support those businesses and people who support & stand by us. I try to avoid soda, but from now if I have to drink, I'll get a pepsi over my usual coca-cola.

You've inspired us to reflect on the fact that the right wingers are going to starve if they keep it up with all of these food company protests.

And for those who want to support pepsi without drinking a ton of soda, don't forget that Pepsico makes a bunch of products, like Tropicana juice, Quaker Oats, Aquafina water, etc. So you can decide how unhealthy you want to be ;)

I'm drinking some Pepsi right now. Caffeine-free diet Pepsi, but Pepsi nonetheless xD

Go Pepsi! (and Levi's and everyone else!)

Also, AFA recently posted an attack on Campbell Soup Company because they are "supporting the homosexual agenda." Whatever "agenda" that is, I have no idea. But I digress...

I definitely agree that we should support companies that support us...but as a public health official, I must emphasize supporting these companies in a HEALTHY way -- so don't go getting addicted to Pepsi and Lay's chips just to support the company! Tropicana and Quaker Oats might be a better way to go! ;)
