Adam Lambert: Gay/Straight Should He Declare?: Looking at the speculation on Adams sexuality and the fact that the curiosity is based in homophobia.

Srs not covered in Manitoba: Despite a budget surplus Manitoba has deemed SRS cosmetic surgery and refuses to cover it.

Should Poly People Wait Their Turn? Now that same gender marriage is making some gains there are those in the GLBT community that feel that the poly people should not attempt to advocate for their rights as it would threaten same sex marriage.

Tyra Allies Don't Speak In Neutralities:Recently on the Tyra Banks Show she allowed homophobic bigots on her show and then decided to announce that she respected their opinion.

As more states become committed to marriage equality, gay and lesbian couples in other states have begun looking for ways to create legal rights without having to wait for marriage. A method popular in the 80s and early 90s was to have one partner adopt the other. This idea is starting to see a bit of resurgence now.

In my post, Adult Adoptions: Can/Should Same-Sex Couples Adopt Each Other? I discuss this plan, how it works, its advantages and disadvantages, and whether or not it is appropriate for you.

Congress has inserted a provision into the State Department authorization budget that would require the State Department to confer the same benefits to same-sex partners as it does to married couples.

This week, my blog features a hilarious guest post by a bi man fed up with gay male biphobia. John Clark totally deserves your attention--GO. Otherwise, it's just all the stuff I'm thinking about--swine flu, the new CDC head's horribleness, my gratitude for the fact that my Russian wife is *here*, and, of course, tons of Pittsburgh Penguins and Tony Stewart gloating.
