"Blue Discharge" is a term for the dishonorable discharge from the military due to violating their policy on homosexuality.

As long as it's not a literal term! *shudders*
Blue discharges were neither honorable nor dishonorable. They were a general discharge. It is true they were disproportionately issued to gay personnel but they were also issued disproportionately to African Americans.
