In a 6-1 ruling the California Supreme Court declared it legal for the majority to impose tyranny on a minority and effectively strip rights away from any population it chooses. Prop 8 may stand today, but the cracks are getting deeper and the voices are getting louder. We must remain steadfast in our opposition to marriage inequality and fight for justice and equality for all!
The Human Rights Campaign is urging for people to donate to the cause for marriage equality at http://www.wontbackdown.org

What the hell? Seriously what the bloody hell is the point of the constitution then?
I would lave to see all these fucking churches have their tax exemptions yanksd--like yesterday! This is an outrage. Whose rights get voted on next? Blacks? Latinos? No one should ever be allowed to vote on civil rights
My spouse and I just donated to "Won't Back Down." Our Canadian marriage is safe but we want to see the same thing for all of our GLBTQ brothers and sisters.
Merlyn thanks so much for helping the cause, we must be united. When it comes to LGBT equality there are no borders, we are all in this struggle together. Much love!
We are all in this together.
I'm so sad that we are still second class citizens. HOWEVER, I'm very proud that as a community we are able to rally together to fight for what we believe in. Peaceably!
As a heterosexual, this is my answer to the h8 devastation: http://prop8pledge.blogspot.com
Please, I encourage everyone to join me in taking the pledge. Spread the word!!
