Bill O'Reilly Dividing American Idol's "Gay" and "Christian" Vote

Bill O'Reilly is engaging in his gay versus straight and Christianity versus secular America, even on his latest segment discussing American Idol! This is a talent competition to find the best singer, not the best preacher.

On his show the O'Reilly Factor he says "might be gay Adam Lambert" versus straight Kris Allen. Where does he come off having the right to discuss anyone's alleged sexual orientation, and how as a "journalist" does he find his sources to know either of these mens actual sexual identification. To play devil's advocate Adam Lambert may be gay but that doesn't negate the fact that he could be a Christian, but just because Kris Allen is married and identifies as Christian doesn't make him straight, he could be bisexual.

Bill O'Reilly maintains that Christians may vote for the Christian candidate and then engaged in gay-baiting by showing irrelevant pictures of Adam Lambert kissing men.

Tell Bill O'Reilly to stop his "culture war" against LGBT Americans:

I am in noway a fan of Mr.O'Reilly, but watching this clip, it seems to me he was being rather fair. It was the other guy who was talking about the "christian vote".

he is the host, he chooses the topics, in my opinion he is to blame.

Gods, he has to try to ruin everything he touches, doesn't he? I hope most people just enjoy the show and vote for the best performer tonight. I'm sure that's really what both Lambert and Allen want--to be judged on their talent.

I find it interesting that when Bill O'Reilly talks about someone that may be gay it is offensive and inappropriate but QU can talk about the then engaged to a woman Governor Crist! And imply he is gay! Seems a bit hypocritical.

Anonymous, peoples sexual orientation should be private unless they want to make it public unless they harm the LGBT community. Crist supported the anti-gay proposition to ban marriage in Florida. He deserves to be outed.

Well...Casey...when you call others fucking stupid you esentially are calling your self fucking stupid. You can't go outside in public because that is your choice not because we make you sick...you make yourself sick. Please take responsibility for youself.

American Idol is a singing competition not a sexual orientation competition. Lets get it right! It doesn't matter if you str8, gay, yellow, brown, black, white, asian, indian, etc...if you can sing then you can sing!!!!!!! Equality for ALL!!!

hey anonymous: at least i use my actual name and furnish my website instead of hiding behind the 'anonymous' option. and i've been using my real name since i came out 34 years ago in the interest of our gay human rights. can you say the same? i doubt it.

and lastly, the WHOLE point of my comment, and the reason i suspect QU posted the Fox story in the first place, is because AI IS a SINGING contest as you state. there is no place in this story to pit Christians against Gays, and that was the whole point of O'Reilly's segment. he couldn't care less who the fuck wins AI, he just wants to make sure that America understands there is a gay guy fighting against a Christian for the right to be called the American Idol. that's not my criteria for winning the contest, but O'Reilly sure as hell wants it to be the criteria. his whole tone is 'How dare the fag try to win this contest. you should vote for the Christian to make sure the gay loses"

that is wrong, it was wrong when i was a kid, it will be wrong when in the future, and if you can't see that, and don't have the balls to fight for what's right, then just go about your sad life the best you can.

AI is a popularity contest... whoever is the most popular will win it... thats all...

This is filler and advertisement. O'Reilly is so in the middle here. Don't you think Fox asks him to talk about American Idol in whatever context to promote the show? I bet it's in his contract that he has to cover certain other Fox shows periodically.

Oreilly is a well known homophobe, lets not play with words here, there is absolutely no way he is not one. Just look at his previous homophobic rants, and tell me he is an "impartial observer" in any gay related topic...
