"The Obama-Biden Transition Project does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or any other basis of discrimination prohibited by law."

People should be considered based on abilities and qualifications and experience, nothing more. There's too much discrimination against too many people.
This is a bright new day in our country!
I agree he has just gotten elected, mentioned gays in his speech and now this, I am optimistic!
...Obama has the same stance on gay marriage as McCain.
