Facebook has rejected our attempt to place a targeted ad for our upcoming lesbian romantic comedy "And Then Came Lola." The film will premiere in June at the Frameline Film Festival in June. For more on the story you can check out Shewired.com's story here: http://shewired.com/Article.cfm?ID=22441or check out our And Then Came Lola fansite at: http://www.facebook.com/pages/And-Then-Came-Lola/53981972250Facebook seems to have a double standard when it comes to images of lesbians. Homophobia seems to be at the core of the rejection. Stay tuned, it ain't over!

http://lhjunkie.blogspot.com/2009/04/ive-succumbed-to-blogging-about.htmlIt's my opinion on Miss California's speech against gay marriage.
In most states, when one partner in a same-sex relationship dies, the other partner is left with nothing. I am sure we have all heard the horror stories of the deceased's family swooping in and taking everything and leaving nothing for their son or daughter's "roommate".Many of these problems can be fixed with a will, but it is important to find an attorney with experience with same-sex couples. What works for a heterosexual married couple might not work with an LGB one.I talk about other things you will want to consider regarding wills here: Three Estate Planning Strategies for Same-sex Couples.
