"Lesbos" is a Greek island, that was home to the famous lesbian poet Sappho. It is where the word lesbian originated from.

They are all secretly lesbians lol, but I hear its a pretty conservative island, so they are prob not down with lady on lady lovin.

I think a while ago they actually tried to ban the usage of "lesbian" because the people felt like it was disgracing their history or something to that effect...it didn't work regardless but it was...er, ironic a bit.

I've read that Sappho was (to use modern definitions) bisexual, not strictly lesbian, but of course words are imperfect things.

People with short left index fingers date women and people with short right index fingers date men.

@ Short Left Index Finger: wtf does that even mean? Don't most peoples' hands match for the most part?
Anyways, thought that I would add Frida Kahlo(famous bisexual mexican painter)to the mix. She even has a movie about her that came out not to long ago, with penelope cruz cast as her.
