The Vermont Senate has voted today 23-5 to override republican Governor Jim Douglas's veto of gay marriage within the state. The battle now goes on to the house where the vote is unpredictable and may be shy of just one or two votes.
It is essential we contact the remaining representatives who are undecided, or those who have said they will vote to override due to the governors misuse of veto power.
