Been looking at this blog post on the violent beating & rape of a trans woman rapper and smoldering. Can't remember if it was covered here but just in case you hadn't heard anyway.

We wrote Gay Marriage Makes Adam & Eve Cry, about the reaction of the conservative group Concerned Women for America to the marriage equality bill passing in Vermont.
Unite the Fight, a blog dedicated to marriage equality everywhere, recaps the Week of April 6-10. Phew! What a wonderfully crazy week!

Ok, maybe a stretch but, this story could be of interest. It's about a girl born with a Y chromosome. Not two X chromosomes. One X and one Y. So.. why is she a girl? Read the story.
I missed Sunday by a little bit, but I thought that with all the focus on what the courts are doing for gay marriage, people might be interested in what the courts are doing with adoption.
A court case in New York just denied a woman any visitation or custodial rights with her child she helped raise for two and a half years because, even though she had a civil union with her partner, she had never formally adopted the child. And because she was also not the biological mother, she had no standing to request aid from the court.
