LOL I wish I had more info on the term, I don't know about it either. Who is molly and why is it dike and not dyke.

Huh, I know that old British slang used molly as a term for male homosexual. It seems like it could be related to one of the cockney rhyming slangs, especially with the use of dike.
maybe related to the term Molly Coddle(d) [passive = kept?]
Ok well if molly means male homosexual, molly dike would make sense as a female homosexual, but why dike with an I and why passive. there must be more to the story.
I like Anon brining in molly coddle because that's what I was thinking...I did a quick google search and it looks like it could be molly dike OR molly dyke. I actually got more results for molly dyke.
