Web Spotlight: Queer By Choice

Queer By Choice is a new and controversial concept of how sexuality comes to be. The website is for people who chose to start feeling same-sex attraction. The website also strays from the biological argumentation for equal rights, and contends that whether queerness is a matter of nature or nurture that rights should not be up for debate.

I think it can be both a choice or bio. I'm a lesbian b/c I want to be. I've been in relationships with men, but usually enjoy life with another lesbian, but not a woman. Sounds strange but there is a construct to our culture and I prefer to transcend it b/c it's oppressive to me as a person.
As for same-sex rights, well I was married a few years ago to my partner of 10yrs and support equal rights. But, I will say...I feel marriage empowers a construct of inequality and exclusion of choice and lack of opportunity to those who do not want to be "married" via the terms of the gov...
I guess I believe in free will, which is a no, no (except for the rich) in the structure called America...
