The Courage Campaign is urging us to send a thank you letter to Dustin Lance Black, Sean Penn, and Cleve Jones for making the movie MILK possible, and for their commitment to LGBT rights and equality. Their acceptance speeches at the oscars and their inclusion of gay rights in their speech is heartfelt and has been heard by millions.

I sincerely think this is great for the gay male community. I hope that the rest of the community (Lesbian, Transgender, and other identities) will have this kind of opportunity to tell their story and receive the same support.
As a gay man, I can say you have my support. I really hope an opportunity to tell other identity stories comes up, too. And I'll be thanking whoever tells it along with you. :)
